Prizes update

We have had a major new sponsor and prize for the event.
Genesis are very kindly providing an i0 frame&forks - in whatever size you need.

We haven't decided how it will be awarded yet, we will get our thinking caps on!

Event facilities update

With just 8 weeks to go until SSUK (eeeek!!) we have been very busy behind the scenes to make SSUK 2010 a great event.

We can confirm that full camping facilities will be available from Friday through to Sunday. These include toilets, showers, catering by The DropOff and of course a fantastic bar courtesy of the Royal Oak Inn, Rhandirmwyn who will be providing a choice of Real Ales, Real Cider and spirits from Penderyn Distillery + all the usual stuff.

There will also be the option to camp on Sunday night for no extra cost, although facilities will be more limited.

Course update

We have been out in Cwm Rhaeadr today checking out the options to give everyone a great course.
Anyone who has ridden in the forest before will know that the singletrack descent is fantastic, but we are hoping to offer much more! The final course will not be finalised until the days before the event and is dependant on the weather - fingers crossed it will be dry.

SSUK Tees ready to PRE-ORDER

As you've probably guessed by their blatant logo placement around the site, we hooked up with the guys from Morvelo to develop this years SSUK logo - which I'm sure you'll agree is pretty tidy!

We decided after years of going to various events, that by and large, event tees very likely will end up in the garage rag pile. Normally that's a pretty expensive rag! We wanted to be able to offer you something high quality that you'd want to keep wearing and wearing, and only becomes a rag when it develops more than the usual four openings....

So - event tees by Morvelo! They're available in 4 different colours and girly fits in all those colours. They're hand printed in the UK on super nice quality fabric. They'll only cost you £17 too!

Please PRE-ORDER and pay for you tee/s ahead of the event - you'll be able to pick up your tee at event sign on. We most probably won't have spares at the event so make sure you order up early!

We figured this was a nicer way to sort out the tees - you don't get a tee you don't want, and you can choose a colour to match your eyes. There's lovely see....
